Spring Road Race

The club organises an annual road race. This event has, over the years, become a feature in the region’s road race calendar. The race now attracts a field of very strong riders including Elite UK and international participants and takes place towards the end of April or early May. Members are expected to lend a hand with the organisation and running of the event, but this is a great way to get a taste and to support cycle racing in the UK.

Majorca Training Camp

Members usually organise a trip to Majorca in the spring, to enjoy the scenery and testing climbs. This is a great opportunity to ride the smooth Majorcan roads while benefiting from the company and experience of other club members.

You can make it as much as a training camp, or holiday, as you’d like. But you’ll be sure to return fitter and happier.
