Thames Velo is a cycling club based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England, with a membership base covering Slough, Bracknell, Windsor, Ascot and Reading as well. Our members take part in road racing, time trials, track racing, cyclosportives and audax. We also have a club run, every Sunday, all year round. Read more about us here.

Road Race Results The Provisional results for both races are now available here. A huge thanks to members, family and friends of Thames Velo for turning out to help run another successful event. Even the weather behaved itself by staying dry until the races were over.

Road Race FULL As reported on the race page, the numbers of entries received for these races were heavily oversubscribed, so please don't bother trying to enter at this late stage, by post, email or phone call to the organiser. We have enough to do now to get everything together for the day. Congratulations to those that got a ride - you were the lucky ones. We're all looking forward to a great day with perfect racing weather on the 22nd!

2012 Subs Now Due! Members wishing to renew can now go here to download and submit with payment to the Membership Secretary. Deadline for renewal is January 21st 2012, when we will be updating our membership list.

Club Dinner The date and venue has been set for our annual bash & prize giving for achievements in the 2011 season. All members & friends of the Velo are invited to the Bird in Hand, Knowl Hill on Saturday 25th February 2012 and the cost per head is £27. There are a limited number of places, so please get in touch with our Membership Secretary as soon as possible.

2012 Spring Road Race Our Road Race Page has been updated with the details of our 2012 promotion which will be held on the ever popular Great Miton circuit on Sunday April 22nd. We have initiated the British Cycling on-line entry system too, so it's even easier to enter.

Results update A few placings worth reporting on our results page

Fred Whitton Six intrepid souls survived a rather damp 2011 edition of the only UK Sportive worth mentioning. Hopefully we'll be getting some personal accounts of exactly how cold and wet they actually got! Chapeau boys!
